The Computer frame is ready to turn two other types of computing equipment into modular, repaired and more friendly user systems: 2-in-1 laptops and PC desktop.
Learned to make bold movements, the frame began selling repairable and improved laptops in 2021, and we have seen half a dozen systems that, from laptops to chromeBooks and even a 16-inch ready-made pattern.
With its second-generation systems, the frame pushed its sustainable design ethics even further with the updates in its known 13-inch model, a fresh, compact, 12-inch 2-in- 1, and the first desktop of the frame. Productdo product shows the company’s commitment to sustainability, improvement and thoughtful design, and I am eager to try and review each of them. Here’s what we know so far for each new frame system.
Laptop frame 13: Power meets lifespan
From the first 13 -inch model to the modular chromebook and the latest versions, I have impressed me with the previous gene Laptop frame 13which not only set up a new User Service Design, but also created a way to save money and reduce electronic waste.
With the new version of 2025, the frame shows commitment to the same ethics with a design that remains compatible with older parts. At the same time, the updated system introduces new skills and even new color options for screen beige and changing port cards.

This 13.5 -inch laptop contains a graceful design that keeps the same design easy to open, useful as past models. Construction is complete with QR codes (leading to additional construction tips) and easy -to -read parts for simple replacements or updates.
As for the most important part, the framework provided the new laptop 13 with AMD Ryzen AI 300-series processors. With options for a 5 to six core ryzen, a Ryzen 7 to eight core 7, and a 9 HX 370 high -level high -level Ryzen, you can expect a significant increase in performance, treating workloads and even Even some light games without a discrete GPU, thanks in part for the rebuilt thermal system of the laptop. Laptop frame 13 now supports up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, which should help heavy multitasters.

New color options for arrows and screen ports are not so impressive, but they allow you to personalize your laptop in ways most manufacturers would never do. Also, note the keyboard – that the Kopilot button is not a small update as it signals support for the latest improvements of it in Windows 11.
Mime starts at $ 899 for the DIY edition and $ 1,099 for pre-built systems. The prefaces are now available, and the deliveries will begin in April.
Laptop Frame 12: Finally, a 2-in-1 repairable
The frame also revealed the 12-in-1 laptop laptop with a 12.2-inch touch screen created for students. This convertible laptop aims to combat the available nature of entry level equipment by providing a sustainable, reparable and up -to -date solution.
Available in a two-ton color scheme in five vibrant shades complete with an optional matching-laptop 12 contains a considerable design with materials that absorb shock. From the strong combination of rubber and plastic to the metal frame inside, it is the most frightening laptop the company has ever made. The frame also calls its 2-in-1 more direct but repairing product, including lessons from each model of the past frame.

Desktop Frame: A compact power plant for players and creative
By making a significant addition to its laptop line, the framework launched its first desktop PC, appropriately called the frame desktop. It is a compact PC, 4.5-liter mini-ItX, powered by Ryzen AMD Max processors. These chips contain up to 16 CPU cores and integrated Radeon 8060 graphics, which are said to be capable of 1440p games and intensive loads.

Designed for personalization, frame desktop uses standard mini-ItX ingredients, allowing you to personalize your configuration. It includes a semi -usual 400W power supply, standard CPU fans and two PCIE NVME M.2 electronic games for storage. Desktop even includes the frame enlargement card system for personal front ports.
However, the frame was unable to do the user repaired memory work on this desktop at the bandwidth that requires Ryzen chips 300, so the RAM of this PC has joined. As a comfort, the frame promises to provide competitive memory prices compared to traditional pre-built systems.

“We really didn’t want to tear the people with him,” the Nirav Patel framework founder said on stage.
After him, a slide comparing the cost of his 128 GB desktop with a MAC studio and Nvidia figures sheltering the same amount of RAM inside made it clear. The highest solution of the frame costs less than half as much as Apple’s.

High-level configuration begins with $ 1.999 for a Ryzen AI max+ 395 with 128 GB of memory, while the base model is $ 1,099 for an eight-core Ryzen AI max 385 with 32 GB of RAM. The prefaces are now open, and the deliveries will begin at the beginning of Q3 2025.
The Takeaway: Frame Painting a bright future for repaired computers
Recent notifications of the frame signal a significant effort to grow after its most successful year, 2024, which Patel discovered during her press conference. For a starting start to attract customers by breaking the industry of embedded laptops, bringing more variety to the frame line expanding into new types of laptops and desktops makes sense. This action will help the frame reach new customers by showing that easier improvement and improvement are possible in more corners of modern computing.
